“All Hail the Blogger” is a collection of all things that I find beautiful and that inspire me each and every day. This inspiration is found in all walks of life and includes images from fashion, beauty, lifestyle, nature, music and an insider look into my day to day life.
Originally from a small sleepy town in Queensland, Emmelita moved to Sydney in 2010 when MTV Networks realised her talent for all things in the media industry. Working with many amazing brands in Australia including a plethora of the top Australian fashion brands she is reminded on a daily basis how much beauty surrounds people every day. Hoping to pass this onto her viewers each and every day she was inspired to start ‘All Hail the Blogger.’
Describing her fashion style has ‘grunge chic,’ the author lists her favourite high end designer labels as Chanel, Moschino, Prada, Chloe & Celine but loves to mix designer pieces with high street items from shops such as Scanlan & Theodore, Ksubi, Sass & Bide, Aje, Zara & still loves to shop at Sportgirl as it provides an ‘instant style update without the high style price tag.’
Style influences include the beautiful and chic Kate Moss, celebrities & ‘it’ girls such as Olicia Palermo & Alexa Chung, music superstars such as Kanye West, Jay Z, Crystal Castles, Die Antwoord and Australian celebrities and fashion icons such as Bambi & Megan Gale. Not surprisingly weekend hobbies include shopping in all forms not limited to online, in store (Sydney City CBD Westfield being the top spot to get a fashion fix,) markets and smaller Australian owned fashion boutiques.
