These beautiful Australian designed hats are from Lack of Color to give us a little background into the new brand we spoke with the designer Tess:

What was your inspiration for this collection?

The inspiration for this collection was the current trend of colour blocking. Many people may want to ease the colour blocking trend into their wardrobe and not include it in their outfit entirely; lack of color hats are a great solution for adding an elusive hint of colour to your outfit, without being too over the top. We also wanted to make an accessory that incorporated lack of color’s eclectic mix of style and something that was affordable for all fashionista’s young and old to enjoy.

Tell us a little about yourself and why you started this business?

This business venture started with my business partner, Robert and myself. We have always been keen and enthusiastic on new and emerging fashion trends and thought what better way to get what we want than to create it ourselves! We also wanted to add a new twist to the traditional fedora styled hat, by mixing it up with our beautiful colour palette, The Dreamer Hat being perfect for subtle wear with a busy outfit, and the Caribbean Crush Hat adding an instant colour burst to a neutral outfit.

If you could have any celebrity wear your brand who would it be?

I would love to see Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in one of our hats! Rosie suits hats so well, and could make anything look amazing!
